About the studio

A planning studio built around the numbers that keep people up at night

Financeinsight builds live calculators and planning guides so you can see the distance between a plan and a target — without a product pitch sitting in the way.

What we actually do

Most money anxiety is a measurement problem. People feel behind without knowing by how much, or they change five inputs at once and cannot tell which one mattered. We built Financeinsight to make that measurement visible.

Measure the gap

Turn a goal, a timeline and a contribution into a surplus or a shortfall you can discuss.

Show the next move

Guides on investing, debt, retirement and household protection sit next to the matching calculator.

Stay independent

No commissions, no sponsored rankings and no paid placement of products.

Stay reachable

The support team helps you use the tools, read results and flag errors. We do not pick investments.

No sponsored rankings. No product kickbacks.

Independence

We do not rank products and we do not take referral fees

Financeinsight does not sell financial products, open accounts or take commissions from lenders, brokers or fund platforms. Guides never include sponsored slots, affiliate tables or paid “best of” lists.

If the studio is funded later through subscriptions or partnerships, that will be stated here. Revenue does not buy a mention, a default calculator assumption or a change to how the tools work.

  • No paid product rankings or comparison tables
  • No cookies that follow you to an advertiser’s signup flow
  • Calculator defaults are starter figures, not product pitches

How the tools are built

Formulas first, then the story around them

Every calculator is a documented model. Compounding and debt interest step monthly. Retirement and FIRE tools convert figures into today’s money where inflation is an input. Gap tools compare a projected balance with a stated goal and show the monthly amount that would close the difference.

Guides are written after the model exists. We do not invent a narrative and then reverse-engineer a chart. Sources are general public research and standard planning identities, not confidential product data. When a rule of thumb such as a four-percent withdrawal rate appears, the copy says it is a starting point, not a guarantee.

  1. 1

    Specify the identity

Write the equation, the compounding frequency and which inputs are held constant.

  2. 2

    Ship with starter figures

Default values are round household figures so you can see the machine move before you replace them with your own.

  3. 3

    Review and correct

Models are re-checked when a guide is updated. Verified errors are logged on this page.

If a chart cannot be explained, it does not ship.

Ethics and privacy

Your numbers stay yours

Results are planning projections based on the rates and amounts you enter. They do not know your tax position, residency, products or full household. For a material decision, take the print-out of your assumptions to a licensed professional where you live.

Inputs stay local

Calculator figures are not sent to a server. Only the contact form transmits what you choose to write.

No account harvesting

Never send passwords, account numbers or identity documents. We will not ask for them.

No product picks

Support will not tell you which security, bank or insurer to use. We help you run the tools and read the result.

Cautious defaults

Starter rates are moderate, not marketing-grade. You should still run a lower-return case.

Corrections policy

If we get a number wrong, we say so

Send the page, the sentence or figure, and why you believe it is wrong. We aim to investigate within five business days. Material corrections are listed below and the live page is updated.

Public correction log

No material corrections have been logged since launch. When one is verified it will appear here with the date, the page and a one-line summary of what changed.

Date Page What changed
— None yet The log is empty on purpose until a verified error exists.

Lines we will not cross

A short list is easier to hold us to than a long manifesto.

No guaranteed returns

Charts are illustrations. Markets, inflation and lenders do not follow a smooth line.

No product placements

Guides stay focused on the math. We do not sell slots to funds, banks or brokers.

No urgency theatre

We will not countdown-clock a household into a product they have not understood.

A real reply

Support messages get a human answer within two business days, not an empty autoresponder.
